Alex Lukashevich is Chief AI Officer at Forte Group.
He has spent over 25 years in technology, most of it in healthcare and financial services—two industries where what you build must hold up under audit and where choosing the right solution is only half the job. Delivering it predictably, without sacrificing quality, is the other half. He has worked with organisations of every size, from large medical device companies to small provider groups and health technology firms.
What he found is that the technology was rarely the hard part. The harder work came earlier: getting clear on which problem was worth solving and how anyone would know whether it worked. For the past four years that work has been AI.
He and his teams have built systems that sit inside daily operations, intake, eligibility and revenue cycle, where the people using them are clinical and administrative staff rather than technologists. Much of it involves capturing what experienced staff already know so it is available to everyone. All of it has to work inside the privacy and security requirements healthcare operates under, which is familiar ground from the regulated side of financial services
